The Project

Sea Power Marine, a top-tier boat service and repair company in Victoria, BC, needed a website that reflected their high-end brand and clientele. Their existing digital presence failed to capture the luxury and professionalism that defined their business. The goal was to build a sophisticated, user-friendly website that spoke directly to their target demographic: affluent boat owners who prioritize timely, flawless service and don't want to be bogged down by complex maintenance. We took a "strategy-first" approach, conducting in-depth research and interviews to build a platform that positioned Sea Power as the go-to provider for total boat care.

From the start, the process was nothing short of amazing. The strategy they brought to the table was exactly what we needed to elevate our brand. We couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Services Utilized

  • Strategic Discovery & Planning: We conducted a competitive analysis of luxury brands (watches, cars, and other marine services) and interviewed existing Sea Power clients to understand their needs and anxieties.
  • Custom Web Design & Development: The new website was built with a clean, responsive design that incorporated the aesthetic cues of high-end brands. The focus was on creating a frictionless, polished user experience.
  • Strategic Content Development: Concise, benefit-driven copy was written to highlight Sea Power's proactive approach to maintenance. We created blog articles and service pages focused on themes like "Total Boat Care" and "keeping you on the water" to address the core concerns of the target market.
  • Professional Photography & Videography: High-quality, in-situ photos and videos were used to showcase the team on the docks, creating a sense of authenticity and trust. The imagery was carefully selected to appeal to the lifestyle of their clientele.
  • Expert Team Showcase: We highlighted key personnel and listed technicians with their specialties to demonstrate the breadth and depth of Sea Power’s expertise, reassuring clients that their boat is in capable hands.
  • Google Business Profile Management: We implemented a campaign to encourage positive reviews and improve their online reputation, further establishing Sea Power as a trusted and reliable service provider.

Results

The new Sea Power Marine website successfully transitioned their digital presence from a simple informational site to a sophisticated platform that serves as a powerful marketing tool. The site’s content and design now directly address the specific needs of their high-end clients, reinforcing their value proposition of quality, reliability, and timely service. The vastly improved user experience, faster site speeds, and WCAG AAA level accessibility make the website more attractive to new visitors, while the detailed content and team bios reassure existing clients of Sea Power’s unwavering professionalism.

When we decided to overhaul the Sea Power Marine Centre website, our goal was to completely transform our brand image. We wanted to move away from a basic WordPress site and create a digital experience that mirrored the quality and sophistication of a luxury car service center. To accomplish this, we chose to work with the team at Radar Hill Technology. From the start, the process was nothing short of amazing. The strategy they brought to the table was exactly what we needed to elevate our brand. The professional video and photography they coordinated were instrumental in making this vision a reality. The stunning visuals completely changed the look and feel of our site. We worked with nearly the entire team: Dan, who truly understood our objectives and expertly guided us through every step; Andrea, who undertook the complexities of domain transfer and configuration; Mike, who created the wonderful aesthetic; photographer Jesse and videographer Max. The result is a high-end, beautiful website that has exceeded all our expectations and has truly helped us to create a successful transition. We couldn't be happier with the outcome.
