Perioperative Nurses Association of BC
The Perioperative Nurses Association of British Columbia has 584 members throughout British Columbia. Radar Hill was awarded their RFP to create a new look, a new website and an online resource for the membership. When we first met the PRNABC they had a severely outdated, static website and a decades-old brand designed around the previous name of their organization. We have been involved with two upgrades to their online presence over the last 10 years.
The public side of the website displays the purpose of the Association and features a wealth of information for visitors and potential members. The password-protected private member area displays resources for members only, and allows the membership to share information and maintain an ongoing dialogue in a single, convenient location. Applications can be taken online and the entire website is controlled by a multi-tiered Content Management System.
There is also a job board to post and view employment opportunities, as well as a section to have event announcements. In our second upgrade we refreshed the look, removed unused sections from both the public site and the private members area and fully optimized the website for smartphone and tablet.

Radar Hill designed the new PNABC logo, which represents the update and evolution from BCORNG (the previous name of the association) to the PNABC. It features a stylized dogwood flower in “motion” to give it a dynamic appearance. Subdued and calming greens are used in the dogwood flower while a green/blue “scrubs” colour for the lettering ties in the association with nursing and health care.
