What is it?
Our broadcast email is a formatted message intended for the sole purpose of promoting real estate.
Who gets it?
Our broadcast email goes to approximately 600 Victoria REALTORS®. We maintain a very current list of active Victoria Real Estate Agents, we remove individuals who choose not to receive information and only send out real estate related information. How much does it cost to be a recipient?
There is no charge to be on the recipient list, we maintain the list as a service to our Victoria Real Estate Board members.
What are the deadlines?
You can specify on the form which day you want your broadcast email sent out, under Preferred Delivery Date. The deadline to fill out the form for delivery is 12 pm the previous day. For weekend broadcast emails (additional charges will apply), the form must be submitted by the previous Wednesday by 3 p.m. and you must sign off on the proof by Friday at noon.
When are the broadcast emails sent out?
Most broadcast emails are only sent out during regular business hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday excluding holidays. A broadcast email can be sent on the weekend - additional charges will apply (and please note the deadlines). Only a limited number of broadcast emails are sent out in a day. Broadcast emails are not sent out on evenings or holidays.

Why can't I make my own broadcast email?
Without professional web development skills it is impossible to construct a well-coded broadcast email. Formatting and download times are optimized by our office with every email message that is sent out, a requirement demanded by our recipient list. In addition, we moderate the recipient list on a consistent basis to ensure only those Victoria Realtors who wish to receive information from their fellow Realtors about Victoria Real Estate are included.
How much does it cost to send a message?
Broadcast Email with one photo: $39.95
Broadcast Email with 2-4 photos: $44.95
Each additional photo: $5
One of our graphic designers will create a template and put in your information. Subsequent broadcast emails are made with the same template, ensuring a consistent quality and appearance.
Are there any additional charges that I should know about?
Yes. If you submit a broadcast email request, then change your mind about the photos after you have received a proof, you may be charged for "Additional photo modifications". 3rd and 4th revisions are also likely to incur additional fees as are unusual layouts. We reserve the right to bill hourly for custom work.
What information is required in a broadcast email?
At the barest minimum, broadcast emails should include one picture, civic address, the MLS® number and the current active price. This information makes it easy for your REALTOR® audience to assess the appropriateness of the listing for their buying clientele. The maximum recommended number of pictures is four, the best solution to increase the amount of information is to provide a link to an online virtual tour or website.
How do I send a message?
If you have an ML#, fill out the short form and we will contact you with a proof within 2 business days. If you don't have a ML# (ie exclusive listing) please fill out our long form. Once we create your broadcast email, we will send a proof to you. This proof MUST be approved BEFORE your broadcast email will go out. We limit the number of messages sent out in one day, so please be sure to book in advance if you require your message to be delivered on a specific day. If you are a regular client of ours we will include the charge with your next bill, if you are a new client we will contact you about payment.
Radar Hill Technology reserves the right to judge the relevance of any message and refuse to send any message deemed inappropriate.
How do I know my bemail was sent?
If you are on the recipient list, you will receive the notification. While Radar Hill employs a verification system to ensure the emails are sent, Radar Hill is not responsible for reception of messages. Connection problems, software problems, email settings, and ISP outages are common and Radar Hill assumes no liability and issues no guarantees that the members of the recipient list have their email programs in perfect working condition.

What happens if the house sells before the broadcast goes out?
Once you have received a proof for your broadcast email you are obligated to pay for it. The services of our office have been enlisted and work has been done. A cancellation fee of $29.95 applies to all broadcast emails that are created but cancelled for any reason, no exceptions.
Can I send out all my listings in one broadcast email?
No, broadcast emails are intended for individual properties or developments. Quite often broadcast emails are printed and used as information sheets, multiple properties confuses the issue for all concerned. The broadcast emails system is mandated by quick concise communication.
Can I resend my broadcast email multiple times?
You may not resend identical broadcast emails. There has to be some significant change in the listing information to warrant repetition. For example: price change, REALTOR® open house dates or commission incentives. Our broadcast email product is very popular and usually booked up to a week in advance. Repetition of identical emails is generally regarded as intolerable by your peer group of like-minded professionals particularly when the broadcast email slots are fully booked.
Can you send out a message about my upcoming seminar / charity event / personal cause etc. etc.?
No. It is our policy to only send information directly related to real estate transactions including virtual tours, price changes and open houses. Periodically we will also send out notices of changes to the services that we at Radar Hill offer, as well as funeral announcements for real estate agents.
Though your event upcoming seminar / charity event / personal cause etc. etc. may be a very worthwhile cause, we would not be able to send it out to our broadcast email list.
How many Broadcast Emails can I send each day?
The maximum number of broadcast emails a REALTOR® can send per day is 2.
