Radar Hill congratulates the Royal Bay Builders. Their website at
www.RoyalBayBuilders.com won the 'Best Builder Website' at the Canadian Home Builders' Association's 2004 Construction Achievements and Renovations of Excellence (C.A.R.E.) Awards held September 25th at the Fairmont Empress
Hotel.
Royal Bay is a new 600-acre community being created on the waterfront in Colwood. The builders and construction companies that are creating the Royal Bay area are featured on www.RoyalBayBuilders.com. They include: Bayridge Builders, Caporale Construction, Fairwest Construction, Genco Construction, Harris Challenge, PSC-Peter Schultze Construction, Piluso Construction, Ricketts Construction, Rob-Ron Developments, Ron Egli Construction and Design, R.W. Starck Contracting, and Valley Pacific Developments.
The www.RoyalBayBuilders.com website was designed and engineered by Radar Hill Technology Group Inc., an Internet development company catering to the real estate, property development, retail and marine industries. Radar Hill focuses on the success of their clients by creating systems where Internet technologies are available to any level of their clients' expertise, ranging from award winning website design, to easy to update database-driven websites, to handheld P.D.A. applications, and everything in between. Roger Whitson of Radar Hill says, "We believe that what we do for our clients - the products we develop, the services we offer - should add to their bottom line, and not add to their workload."
In keeping with this philosophy, Radar Hill's graphic designer, Robin Howe, created the www.RoyalBayBuilders.com website to stand out with an eye-catching front page and easy navigation. Carefully chosen colours and style subtly emphasize the development's prime location near forest and sea, while the repeated graphic reinforces recognition of the Royal Bay logo.
Designed with user friendly technology, the site can be easily and affordably updated by the owner, so that information is current and accurate. Prominent, recognizable images link to detailed information and highlight amenities central to the development. The site presents clear, concise information about the project and community and direct links to the twelve builders. Straightforward graphics indicate properties sold and those still available. Larger maps showcase the project's proximity to golf courses, schools and other features desirable to the target market. Simple directions and contact information make it easy for visitors to find their way home to this unique development.
Along with real estate, Radar Hill has developed easy to use online catalogues for several businesses including antique dealers, boat designers, charter companies, and law offices. A law office is able to upload and safely display sensitive documents to individual clients. Each document in the database is protected by a password, ensuring that only the intended recipient can view it. A marine charter company can easily maintain an inventory of charter boats available for long and short-term trips. "It's taking a business's database and making that information safely accessible to their clients," says Dan Lundgren of Radar Hill.
